Our family business started off in 1979 in Dallas, Tx, when Jay Ma'ani learned his wife was expecting a baby boy. On that thought, he began this company under the name Jay & Son imports. The company was small, but quickly evolved to something more with hard work and strong customer relations.

The company  headquarters moved from Dallas to Tyler, Tx in 1983 and evolved from a rug import company to a total rug outlet, complete with buying and selling, maintenance, repairs, home decor, and appraisals. Through the years, Jayson Gallery acquired locations in Shreveport, Austin, and San Antonio, but continued to call Tyler home!

Today, Jayson's Rug Gallery is one of the main sources of fine handmade oriental rugs in the state of Texas. Jayson's Rugs main showroom is in Tyler Tx, and deals with friends throughout the US, providing sales and services to individuals and commercial trade (dealers, decorators, and builders). The company is still run by founder Jay Ma’ani and heir to the company, son Misha M. Ma’ani, sales manager.
